I Found it interesting that many of the ideas, food, or things they used to do in the old days still exist. Indeed what i also found interesting was how the calendar system work, how they had two the 260-day calendar and the 365-day calendar, and how the 260 calendar still employed in Guatemala today, and also what the history was behind the calendar system that they came up with. That is the most that fascinated me the most about the reading this week.

I really liked the calendar and writing information as well. I actually downloaded widgets to my dashboard on my computer showing the countdown to the new long count (...the end of the world... ooooo...) I found my aztec name; Chicuei-Cali or 8-House. Which is perfect because that just happens to be how many houses I would like to own. Just kidding. but I am working towards being an architect. I might have to incorporate the number eight into my designs. Who knows.
