Frida Kahlo
WOW!! This is my second time attending this exhibit. I was really amaze by the exhibition of Frida Kahlo. All her paintings are just truly amazing, entertaining and fabulous, but although some of the paintings do leave you hanging, meaning that they left you wanting to know more. The most important thing that i like about this exhibition was how they basically told you here hold story in just the words that were painting on the wall and what were her emotions when she was paiting. It was almost telling you her life and just basic and understanding information. There were several paitings that i really enjoy and there were some that just left me speechless, or saying to my self why is this in the picture. I just wish that i was able to talk to her so i will know what was behind that picture that she painted. Although, i know that she did paint what ever was going through her head.

lizandro- did you get a chance to do the audio at all? Her pieces are so loaded with narrative that you MUST at least search out teh meaning of one of your favorite pieces and reflect on that..I promise you , hearing the story behind just one will totally intrigue you and --at the very least--give you some insight to her difficult life.
I liked the hand-outs they give some good insights too.
